Chinese Postpunk Anthology collects materials documenting independent music scenes across China.

The site brings together notes, translations, and fragments written over time, without attempting to form a complete or unified narrative.

Post-punk appears frequently, though it is not treated as a fixed category. Rather than defining a genre, the texts trace how music is made, circulated, and thought about under specific conditions.

The selection is subjective. What is included matters, but so does what is left out.

Texts are written in English, Japanese, and occasionally Chinese, and are meant to be read discontinuously.
